Join Mark de Paola for this experience in photographing the nude figure. Inspired by de Paola’s fine art series “60 Seconds”, attendees will watch Mark work and shoot with a professional nude model in New York City. Learn from and explore compositional techniques and subtleties through natural window light and an art directed set. Experiment with unconventional long exposure and compositional techniques and capture timeless figures in a safe and casual setting with one of the leading fine art photographers in the industry.

Please bring your favorite camera or cameras and lenses. No tripods or additional heavy equipment please (reflectors, large flashes, etc.).
This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in exploring nude photography in a safe and professional environment as well as professionals looking to expand their portfolios. This workshop will take place during the daytime. Shooting digital and/or all formats of film are welcomed and encouraged for this workshop. Examples of imagery you may capture during your session with Mark: Abstract nude shapes and compositions utilizing natural light. Poetic portraits in both soft and hard light. Full figure nudes in a variety of settings throughout the studio. This workshop will take place in a natural light studio with select pieces of furniture.
