Kate Vredevoogd

GRANADA, SPAIN

Local expert, music journalist and fine art photographer

Kate Vredevoogd´s photography has taken many forms since she picked up her first camera 15 years ago, but her current preferred type of work is lifestyle photography and music journalism. Her career began with a deep interest in documentary photography and the idea of telling a story using images to create empathy, which has colored her work ever since.

She left her native state of Washington to build a new life in Spain, where she currently works as a creative director developing lifestyle shoots, and as a music journalist for various artists and record labels. She has photographed music festivals and concerts throughout Europe, regularly exhibits her work in museums around the region, has published work in LensCulture and is currently publishing a novel with an accompanying photo essay.
